I have led a blessed and somewhat bucolic life. My days have always been filled with children, animals, and gardening. I learned to stitch from my Grandmother when I was a small child. We made quilt tops and fashioned teddy bears from our worn out winter coats. She showed me how to make-do. From her I learned all the skills I would need to make a home. But Gran's lessons weren't just practical. By her example she helped me become... Beloved of God, A Devoted Wife, Loving Mother, Teacher, Artist, Builder, Dreamer, Gardener, Poet, Student, and Friend.
